Special coverage of the 52nd edition of Visions du Réel that begins 15 April - 25th April. In this episode, we are joined by Steve Rickinson in Bucharest from The European Documentary Magazine, Modern Times Review. The print publication has been a staple at many European documentary festivals and they offer expansive coverage of film reviews and industry news online.

Steve Rickinson heads up the industry section and joined me earlier to discuss our picks from Visions du Reel.

ABOUT OUR SPECIAL GUEST, STEVE RICKINSON

New to Bucharest by way of Amsterdam, Brooklyn, and a few other places, Steve is the communications manager and industry editor for the documentary magazine Modern Times Review. He is also a documentary correspondent for Romanian cinema publication Films in Frame Magazine. Prior to his relocation to Europe, he was the co-founder and senior editor for New York-based indie film magazine IndieWood/Hollywoodn’t. Not to be outdone with film, Steve is also a music journalist specializing in electronic and dance music.
